Carrot (Care it ) to the Top!

Music careers take a great deal of time and care…. They must be nursed daily. A great guitarist I met Saturday night said it best. Other professionals don’t seem to gripe about the amount of time it takes to get good at what they do. Doctors can hand over up to 15 years exploring their career goals, expert financial gurus must see the market turn 2 to 3 times before they understand the full effect of ebb and flow of market tone. But musicians seem to all want a microwave career. Pop the song in and out comes a perfectly baked career. There is never an expiration date on a career, if money is not your pinnacle desire. Don’t lose your shout!

With the cookie cutter acts and the recreation of the same hit song substituting new electronic sounds, it does seem that that is possible. But Pop acts are no different in the amount of tenacity it takes to make it. Although today’s pop stars lack a certain amount of music ability and even dare to call themselves songwriters when the seasoned veteran has written 100% of a co-written tune, they STILL have had to endure a grueling process of giving up their life for a certain period of time. For that they deserve their target wish.
