Alex Belland is a pop soul singer born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Alex discovered her love for music at the age of four and has been singing ever since. She started performing in her elementary school band in fourth grade playing the bass guitar, and moved on to vocal performances when she was eleven. Her favorite song to perform was Any Way You Want It by Journey.

At the age of ten, Alex began collaborating with fellow music students at the School of Rock and formed an all girl cover band called “We’re Not Dudes”.  Alex was lead vocals and played bass guitar and piano. We’re Not Dudes performed around Dallas including Trees, Jack’s Backyard and opened for Polyphonic Spree in 2011 at the Lakewood Theatre. Alex departed the band in 2012.

To further develop her vocal and performance skills, Alex is now working with vocal trainers and stage presence artistic directors at Septien Entertainment Group, the #1 music artist development center in the US. She joined Master Class at Septien in 2015 and has performed in several venues around Dallas including Six Flags Over Texas and The Prophet Bar. Alex has also performed in Los Angeles at the Edgemar Center for the Arts and the Hollywood Improv, wooing big crowds with her incredible voice.

Alex is inspired by the soulful voices of Beyoncé, Tori Kelly, Amy Winehouse, and Ariana Grande.  Alex is focusing on developing her brand, refining her vocal style, writing, recording and producing original music and plans to release singles to her many followers and fans this summer (2017).
