Shannon studied Music Education at the University of North Texas and Master’s degree from Dallas Baptist University in Contemporary Music in Ministry. Shannon specializes in voice and has been singing since she could speak. She has performed at Bass Hall in Fort Worth, the Meyerson Performing Arts and Symphony Center in Dallas, as well as other venues around the DFW.

Shilah Phillips, semi finalist along with Jennifer Hudson on American Idol season III, Miss Texas 2006 on her first try into the competition, voted top 20 most beautiful women in Dallas by D Magazine, 1^st runner up to Miss America and winner of talent for Miss America, and won CMT’s viewer’s choice talent award voted by 7.5 million viewers, Shilah Phillips is our newest instructor at Septien!! She is an expert at Stage Presence, but her voice is one of the most amazing belters around! Jennifer Hudson has nothing on her!

Carlo studied at the University of North Texas where acquired his Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis of Composition and Bass Performance. Carlo is also multi-lingual, speaking fluent Spanish. While in college, Carlo studied under classical players, Paul Leblanc and Sergio Rodriguez. Carlo has toured in numerous rock bands and has played at Van’s Warped Tour, SXSOWHAT, Trees, and other amazing venues!

Ben is a direct teaching descendant of Beethoven! He has been playing piano since the age of six, and has trained for over 23 years with some of the great piano teachers of our time, including local master Steinway Artist, Stephen Nielson, and Chicago jazz pianist, Bradley Williams. He has production and playing credits on hundreds of songs. His vast knowledge in music theory and history, along with a deep focus in technique, allows him to be very flexible to each individual student’s needs and personality.

With a vocal range spanning five octaves, JW boasts an exciting and passionate vocal timbre that is truly his own. A talented musician as well as a singer, JW also honed his musicianship and vocal abilities while attending the renown University of Miami School of Music, majoring in Studio Music and Jazz Vocal Performance. For the past several years, JW has performed as a Lead Singer, Backing Vocalist and Session Singer.

WT Greer is the Master Artist Program Director at Septien, and has personally performed internationally singing, producing corporate shows, as well as writing original corporate and private music. WT has made more than 30 appearances on regional and national television. Oprah says of WT, “If the ocean had a voice, it would be the voice of WT Greer.”

Adia went to the University of Texas at Arlington where she earned her degree in Vocal Performance. Adia has experience with all levels of performers and is dedicated to building a strong vocal technique and performance ability. Adia toured with the Brookhaven Jazz Ensemble through Seattle, Washington to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

a 20 year musician, recording engineer and record producer is also an accomplished drummer & percussionist. His discography includes Lauryn Hill, Kelly Clarkson, Teddy Riley, Erykah Badu, and Kirk Franklin. After moving back from Miami, Hal was co-owner in the massive Texas studio complex, Maximedia Studios that worked with such greats as Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Mariah Carey, and many more.

Jonathan attended the University of North Texas where he graduated with a Bachelors in Music Composition. Jonathan has had the opportunity to perform with the UNT Brazillian Percussion Ensemble and Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra. He has also performed at The Meyerson Symphony Center, The Charles W. Elsemann Center, and the Murchison Performing Arts Center.

Cory B. is a Dallas native with a New York state of mind. She spent 6 years working for one of NYC’s top dance & talent agencies, Clear Talent Group, while obtaining a degree in Industrial Design at City University of New York. Cory has experience creating entertainment for companies such as AT&T, The Color Run, Flashmobs of America, Bud Light, Captain Morgan, BET, MTV, Univision, NHL, MAC Cosmetics, Party City, Ericsson, and more. She also has 10 years of experience in artist development, creative direction, stage performance and choreography for artists from across the world.

Zakk Manzella began his professional career as a child performer (on broadway) in NYC by the age of five. Assisting legendary choreographers led to choreographing on his own at age 21. His choreography credits include many acts like Wyclef Jean, Movado, Disney, Fischer Price, Columbia Records, Salt n Pepa, & Wayne Brady. A firm believer of the power of increasing one’s knowledge, Zakk is one of the youngest veterans the industry has to offer and will continue to grow!

Southern Rock/Pop singer Remington is a renaissance man that has written with some of the most prolific writers in the industry including Matts Blemofft who wrote for Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and NSYNC, Desmond Child, Sweden and Nashville teams that have helped produce some of the top pop stars of today. Additionally, he trains stage presence, guitar, songwriting, and voice.

Greg has extensive experience in Music theater, Rock, Pop, R&B, and Opera at the collegiate and professional level. Before teaching at Septien, Greg was a professional Opera Singer as well as gigging musician. Greg’s band “Somatik” has performed at local venues such as Trees, The Curtain Club, and The House of Blues. They have also performed on the Vans Warped Tour and they were also named “Best Hard Rock Act in Dallas”!

Scott is a professional producer, engineer and songwriter. As a staff member at the Septien group, he has written and produced over 300 songs since coming aboard the team in 2014. Prior to moving to Dallas, Scott worked on projects for nationally renowned artists from Universal and SONY/ATV and brands such as Cisco, American Eagle, Hasbro, and Goldman Sachs. Scott worked out of renowned NYC facilities such as Engine Room Audio, Terminus Studios and Atlantic Sound.

Johnny “Stallion” Marzonie is a professional lead guitarist for the Rock band, Redline Drive. Nomitated for 9 Grammy awards, Marzonie also plays in top 40 act, Safira. While studying at Musicians Institute (GIT) in Hollywood, CA, he was awarded 1st place in the solo guitar competition for Applied Metal Guitar. Johnny is constantly touring and performing for up to four hours a night combined with being commissioned for outside studio sessions.
